Hand Embroidery Sewing Camp | Gorton Center

Calling all fashionistas interested in learning more about hand embroidery, this is the perfect camp for you! During this one week camp, sewers will learn how to hand embroider using embroidery hoops. We will combine our skills and embroider directly on jean jackets or students can do an applique technique to attached their designs using the machines. Students can choose to add their hand embroidery project onto their machine project or keep separate. All supplies, including fabric, sewing machines, and sewing notions are provided. It is SEW much fun to sew and create. Students can bring their own sewing machine or use the provided sewing machines. Students should bring a water bottle and healthy snack everyday. *New and returning students are welcome! *Jean jackets will be provided OR students can choose to provide their own.
